This weekend the Dreamhack 2006 Winter event was held in Jönköping, Sweden were the last stop of the CPL 2006 World Season - CPL Nordic - was held. 6 teams of Steel attended the CPL Nordic event four of which ended in top 8.
The two finalists, Ninjas in Pyjamas and H2k-Gaming both played with professional gaming gear from SteelSeries like the SteelSound 5H v2 and the SteelPad QcK heavy. On Nuke and Train NiP proved to be H2k's suporior and took a 2-0 victory. The 1st prize at CPL Nordic was an all-paid trip to the CPL 2006 Championship Finals in Dallas, USA which is held less than two weeks from now. More on that later on.

On a sidenote the Dreamhack 2006 Winter event was attended by 7752 gamers who had 7788 computers connected on the network. This is a world record and Dreamhack now has the title as the largest LAN in the world.
